71st Michigan Duck Hunters Tournament

Date(s) and Time(s):

  • Saturday, September 15th, 2018 – 10am to 4pm
  • Registration at 9am

Description:

In 1947, a small group of duck hunters were discussing who can shoot the best, who can set decoys the fastest, row and punt the fastest etc., and after this friendly competition, the MICHIGAN DUCK HUNTERS TOURNAMENT was born! Things have changed a bit, but the premise is the same. This is most unique and oldest shooting event around so come out and test your skills in our family-friendly, fun event!

Boats and Shells are provided for a small fee. Must use shells provided.

All proceeds will benefit the habitat at Pointe Mouillee State Game Area, which is the largest fresh water marsh restoration project in North America located in the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge.
